Just like every other human, age comes with certain life’s expectations and pressures, and Nigerian singer Falz is not exempted from all that.
The young dude recently opened up on his own plights, as he revealed what he goes through in the hands of his parents as he is yet to find his missing rib as he approached the age of 34.
While appearing on Naija 102.7FM, the talented and versatile singer/rapper revealed how his parents, especially his father are often on his neck coz he’s yet to get a woman (wife) at his age. Including some of the responses he gets from his father each time he greets him
According to him:
“I am not married. I am a single man. Single to stupor. My parents now, it’s everyday. If I greet my father good morning, he would say the morning will be good if you were married. Both my mum and dad, although my mum has calmed down now. Maybe she has passed the baton to my dad. Anything small thing now na “how far na?”
Further, he made it clear that no one can actually pressure him into getting married when he’s not ready for it, not even his dad. He equally stated that he’s not into any serious relationship at the moment, citing that the last time he had a serious relationship was back in the university which is many years ago.
“Nobody fit pressure me. No one can pressure me into getting married, not even my dad [laughs]. Currently, I’m not dating anyone. I’m a straight man. I like women. But for a while now, I haven’t experienced a serious relationship. I was still in the university the last time I had a serious relationship,” he said.
Equally, he stated that the life of a celebrity is not easy, hence balancing it with a wife and family at the moment won’t be that easy as many people thing.
He also made it clear that there’s no bad experience he has had in a relationship that has prevented him from falling in love for this long, just that he’s being careful.
“This life that I live of being a celebrity, it’s not easy to balance it with a wife and family. And there are many things that we too have seen that are even happening publicly”.
“That is, within industry, there are many things that happen publicly that when you look at it, you’ll feel like to have a healthy relationship and healthy career as an entertainer, it is hard”.
“And so because of that, I just try to be careful. Nothing bad has really happened that has made me not be in relationship, I just want to be very careful”.
