It was indeed yet another glorious day for most football players as the 2024/2025 UEFA Champions League, UCL kicked off across different countries and cities.

ENDRICK:

While Real Madrid won 3-1 against Stuttgart of Germany, it was Brazilian golden boy Endrick who stole the show in the end. With less than 20 minutes in the field the 18 year old scored a stunner in the closing minutes of the game.

He made history on his Champions League debut for Real Madrid as he became their youngest UCL goalscorer ever. With just 23 minutes of play so far as a Real Madrid player, he has two goals already. So, he has scored both on his La Liga and Champions League debut.

KYLIAN MBAPPE:

He opened the scoring for Real Madrid on their first Champions League game of the season.

He has now scored a total of 49 Champions League goals and as he enters the top 10 UCL goalscorers in the history of the tournament.

HARRY KANE:

Another ball for Harry Kane for his hat trick and with his UCL Man of the Match award as well after a stunning performance.

With Bayern Munich thrashing Dynamo Zagreb 9-2 at home, Kane became the best English goalscorer ever in Champions League with 33 goals, after netting four goals this night. Meanwhile, he has 53 goals in 50 games so far as Bayern player.

On the other hand, his teammate, Michael Olise had two goals on his Champions League debut.

Liverpool’s Dominik Szobozszlai scored his first Champions League goal as Liverpool player following Liverpool’s 3-1 thrashing of AC Milan of Italy.

VAN DIJK:

The Liverpool defender was on the score sheet for his club as he scored his third Champions League goal for Liverpool following their 3-1 of AC Milan in his 50th UCL. And equally his first under his new coach Arne Slot.

THOMAS MULLER:

The veteran player featured for Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Tuesday night and became the club’s player with the highest appearance for the club, with 152 caps.

He was awarded with a statuette of himself following his new achievement as Bayern Munich’s record appearance holder (711 in all competitions) before their game with Dinamo Zagreb.
