Second Sunday of May every year is marked as Mother’s Day in the United States of America, aimed at recognizing and celebrating mothers, motherhood and their positive contributions to both the family and society at large.
Meanwhile, former U.S President, Barrack Obama made out time to celebrate his beautiful wife, Michelle Obama, on this year’s occasion of mother’s Sunday. He thanked her for all she has been doing for their daughters.
“Happy Mother’s Day to @MichelleObama and all the moms out there! Michelle, thank you for all that you do for our girls. Today and every day, we celebrate you,” he tweeted.
And further appreciated all mothers and mothers figure across the world, for their different roles and positive impacts on the society and world.
“And a big thank you to all the mothers and mother figures out there who provide us love, inspiration and support, often in the face of remarkable odds,” he added.
Meanwhile, the post has generated some sort of mixed reactions, including some shading and trolling on the former President of the United States of America.

Replying the above comment, Twitter user @rayray7824 wrote as well, “Can your mother provide a pic of her carrying you…”
“Any mother I’ve ever been around or known has thousands of pictures and videos,” @donttreadmemes replied.

On the other hand, Michelle Obama took to her Twitter account to celebrate both her mother and other mothers out there, as she joins others to mark this year’s mother’s day in the United States of America.
She appreciated her mother for all that she has impacted in her over the years and still doing in her life and that of her family, while admitting she has equally passed down same virtues down to her girls (daughters) as well.
In her exact words, she tweeted, “happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there! My mom has always been my rock and I’m so grateful for all the ways she continues to show up for my family. She’s taught me so much over the years, and I feel so lucky that I get to pass that same wisdom down to my own girls.
To all the moms celebrating today, I hope you know how much you’re appreciated”.
