Controversial Nollywood actor and politician, Yul Edochie seems not to be bothered about all that has been said about him in recent years, especially since he got married to his second wife, actress Judy Austin. And also, about the outcome of his recent affiliation with the Ruling party All Progressives Congress, APC, under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, whom he has continued to public flaunt his support for.
During an interview on Naija Podcast, the actor clearly stated that a lot of things have been said about him, people have continued to attack him non stop, but the fact remains that he is not moved by all that. He bragged about how he’s only out to create a scenario that will get people talking about him, and he moves to the next target, of creating yet another talking point.
Yul who laughed throughout most part of the interview equally claimed that he hardly read most of these comments were people are bashing him coz of his choice of lifestyle, as he equally bragged that great people like himself don’t read such things, as they only create a talking point and move to the next phase of their pursuits.
“Great people don’t read these things. We give you talk and face the next chapter of our life,” part of his interview words reads.
Further stating that most of the people attacking him are young people, maybe age of 23, 24, of which are not the people to advice him on how to live his private life, or tell him what is the best for him (Yul). He also stated that most of these people are not even married, yet they want to advice him that has been married for about 18Years or so
He equally made it clear that people are at liberty to attack and drag him as they like, but warned that anyone who does it to his father, Chief Pete Edochie or the incumbent President of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu in his (Yul) presence, will see the other side of Jim, as he won’t tolerate such from anyone.
“Drag them and I finish you,” he warned.
Recall that the movie star has repeatedly been dragged across social media platforms since he married actress Judy Austin as a second wife. Most people have continued to talk about how he treated his first wife, May Yul Edochie, who was there with him when he had practically nothing, but only to be treated the way he did, especially by taking a second wife without the knowledge or consent of his first wife, May.
So, as a result, thousands of Nigerians took it upon themselves to fight the battle on behalf of May, as such, making it a hellish experience for Yul and Judy across many social media platforms. Unfortunately, till date the attacks on the couple has refused to die down, even as Yul has come out in the past to explain why he decided to marry Judy Austin, and several other posts aimed at dowsing the tension and anger, all to no avail.
On the other hand, Yul Edochie has in recent times declared his full support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, which expectedly opened yet another avenue for him to be dragged by many Nigerians, especially supporters of the Labour Party, LP, and The People’s Democratic Party, PDP. Funny enough, none of these seems to have had the expected effect on the actor, as he has continued to walk all these paths that exposed him to unending dragging and attacks.
