Meanwhile, sometime in May this year, rumours had it that Nuella Njubuigbo remarried a certain Carlos Jean, who is alleged to be the former boyfriend of Nuella’s colleague in Nollywood, in the person of actress Uche Ogbodo. Meanwhile, she has never come out to deny it, including a video that went viral in the same period, which captured the moment she and Jean tied the knot in an undisclosed location.

She and Tchidi Chikere were married for about seven years before they later broke up in 2021 as a result of irreconcilably differences, including that Tchidi has allegedly subjected her to series of domestic violence. They had a baby girl together in the course of their once glamour filled marriage named Tessy Chikere. While they were together, Tchidi Chikere featured her in most of his movies, giving her important roles, such as the then popular TV series titled “Professor Johnbull” sponsored by Telecom giant, Globacom.
