Meanwhile, this is coming at a time most people have continued to tackle producers in the industry for not caring enough for the people they recruit for their jobs.
For instance, the Executive Producer of the movie that Junior Pope and others were shooting when they met their untimely death, Adanma Luke Ozuligbo, came under severe criticism following the boat mishap. To the extent she was immediately suspended by the National body of the Actors’ Guild of Nigeria, AGN.
Even, veteran Nollywood actor and movie director, Ernest Obi tackled producers who put the lives of their cast and crew in danger during production. Then went further to urge people to stop taking risks that put their lives in danger.
Meanwhile, I thought the national body of AGN banned any shooting both inside the river and around riverlin areas, until further notice? So when was the ban lifted or are some of their members above the law operating in the industry?
