This remains one of the best career year for Nigerian music star and DMW boss, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido, with regards to his music career. The young man has really achieved a lot this year, as everything seems to be falling into the right places for him.
His most recent achievement already in the bag is the huge number of streams his latest music album titled “Timeless” has garnered across various online streaming platforms, particularly on the global platform “Spotify”.
According to a post Davido made on his Facebook status earlier in the day, Timeless album has been streamed over four hundred million times on the platform, and thirty million people have equally listened to the album since it was released earlier in the year. On the other hand, the album has enjoyed over twenty million hours of listening and streaming, and covering a total of one hundred and eighty two countries.
“Thank you for listening,” Davido wrote on the post.

Recall that this album of about seventeen (17) tracks was released on March 31, 2023 by Davido Music World, DMW, Columbia Records and Sony Music Entertainment. The highly successful album featured other musicians like Asake, Grammy awards winner Angelique Kidjo, Musa Keys Fave and others.
Also, this album in question recently earned Davido his ever Grammy nominations, as it was nominated at the 66th Grammy Awards for the category of “Best Global Music Album” alongside Burna Boy and others. Davido equally lined up a lot of activities aimed at promoting the album, including the Timeless Tour of North America from July 1-15, 2023.
Sadly for Davido, while he was at the peak of recording the album in November 2022, he lost his three year old son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, which forced him to take an instant break social media to mourn his deceased beloved son, with his wife Chioma Rowland. He returned to social media about three months later, announcing the date for his album release.
