The uproar trailing the unfortunate death of Nigerian music star, Mohbad, both physically and spiritually in this country, and in other places has never been seen for many years now. The last time we witnessed such was when another fast rising music act, Dagrin died on April 22, 2010.
Many has continued to emphasize that it is the spirit of Mohbad that is fighting for justice to prevail. And now, another big name in the industry and one of the biggest name out of Africa, Davido, has come out to reveal that since the demise of Mohbad that he has been finding it extremely difficult to sleep well.
“Mohbad your spirit strong ooo… sleep come hard me,” the ‘Unavailable’ crooner posted via his verified Instagram account.
Further, Davido, otherwise known as OBO made it known that he will be attending the candle light procession in honour of Mohbad, slated for September 21, 2023, in Lagos State.
“On the way,” Davido replied to the flyer of the upcoming candle light procession for Mohbad.
Many artists have come and gone, with some of their deaths shredded in controversies and uncertainties, but none has really stirred such whirl wind in recent times like that of Mohbad. Since his death on September 12, 2023, a lot of controversies, allegations, talks, etc have been made in a bid to unravel the circumstances leading to his death.
While the Nigerian Police has announced that it has waded into the matter, to unravel the circumstances surrounding his unfortunate death, many names have been fingered in the matter. Meanwhile, though every accused remain innocent until proven guilty by the court of law, we are equally appealing for justice to prevail in the end, nothing should be swept under the carpet. Whoever has a hand in it should face the wrath of the law.
