Cubana Chiefpriest Arrested By EFCC, Faces Jail Term Like Bobrisky

Popular and flamboyant Nigerian socialite, barman and businessman, Mr. Pascal Okechukwu, otherwise known as Cubana Chiefpriest has reportedly been arrested by the country’s anti graft agency, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

The EFCC preferred three count charges against him, all bothered on the abuse of the Naira. The charge was said to have been filed by the anti graft agency on April 4, 2024, will be arraigned at the Lagos Division of the Federal High Court before Justice Kehinde Ogundare on Wednesday April 17, 2024.

According to Peoples Gazette, this is coming days after it has published a video of Chief priest allegedly abusing the Naira, and is walking free, while cross dresser, Bobrisky was arrested for same offence, speedily tried and sentenced to six months imprisonment.

Recall that few days ago, the Anti graft agency published via its verified social media platforms that they have received a couple of petitions against Naira abusers since the arrest and imprisonment of Bobrisky.

The charge filed on April 4 stated Mr Okechukwu will be arraigned at the Lagos Division of the Federal High Court before Justice Kehinde Ogundare on April 17.

In reaction, some people are doubting if truly the EFCC can actually prosecute him based on the amount of money he may offer them.
