Controversial Nollywood actor and politician, Yul Edochie seems not to care about all the negative things people have continued to haul at him, mostly because of his political affiliation and decision to marry a second wife, in the person of actress Judy Austin.

Meanwhile the Anambra State born movie star has repeatedly reaffirmed his loyalty to the incumbent president of Nigeria, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, APC. Even though this has earned him a place in the black books of many Nigerians, yet Yul doesn’t look like he is changing his mind as a result.

Sharing a photo of a customized outfit with President Tinubu’s face inscribed on the cloth, with the write up “relax, Jagaban will fix Nigeria” Yul then captioned the post, “Come rain come sun, I dey with Jagaban. Asiwaju boy 100%”.

Meanwhile, this is not the first time he has publicly made known his political affiliation with the camp of the incumbent president. Recall that he was present at the Supreme court while the judgment on the 2023 Presidential Election Petition involving Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, and Mr. Peter Obi of the Labour Party, LP, was being delivered. Even though the judgment lasted for many hours, Yul Edochie was present till the end, with his President Tinubu inspired outfit.

Sometime ago, he shared via his verified Instagram page, photos of himself and his second wife, Judy Austin rocking their Tinubu inspired outfits. Following that, they received unprecedented backlashes from many Nigerians online, mostly from supporters of the opposition political parties of Labour Party and People’s Democratic Party.

But unfortunately for this group of people, that has not been able to deter Yul from publicly pitching his tent with the incumbent president, including repeatedly urging Nigerians to relax and be patient with the new President, assuring them that Tinubu will fix the country.

On the other hand, some others have equally alleged that the motive behind Yul Edochie’s support for President Tinubu is for political recognition or for him to be given political appointment.

But prior to the election, the Nollywood actor was a member of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, of which he appeared in a couple of their political campaigns in the build up to the 2023 general election in Nigeria.
