Super-C as he’s fondly, Naeto-C is one of the most famous and successful Nigerian musicians of the present generation. Born in Texas Houston, United States of America, Naetochukwu Chikwe A.K.A Naeto-C came into the Nigerian music industry in the early 2000s, of which some records stated that he came into the industry sometime in 2006, following his return to the country after he graduated in 2004 from a US university where he bagged a degree in Biology.
MARRIAGE: Truth be told, Naeto-C is one of the most decent celebrities in this part of the world and even world over. Like most celebrities trailed by unending controversies, especially when it comes to women matter, but this young man has literally stayed away from such lifestyle, even both before, and after he got married to his beautiful wife, Nicole Chikwe in 2012.
Till date, their marriage is waxing stronger, and his wife had at different times attested to the fact that her husband is a perfect partner, despite his fame and other factors. She made this known during an interview in 2019 with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
Funny enough, some people actually claimed that Naeto-C and his wife Nicole has traces of resemblance, especially facially. And people have equally continued to admire their seemingly perfect marriage, inspite the fact that the lovebirds are still young, but they have been able to imbibe great wisdom to make their marriage the envy of many. He has actually corrected the growing trend and impression that celebrity marriages do not see the light of the day.
Already, their marriage is blessed with three lovely kids.
Away from his family, do you know that Naeto-C initially had a plan of becoming a medical doctor? Yes, after he graduated with a degree in Biology, he had wanted to further his education and become a medical doctor afterwards, but he later changed his mind and decided to pursue his talent and passion, which is music. And you wouldn’t say he made a bad choice or decision after all, he has really achieved a lot for himself in the field he adventured into.
On the other hand, both his career in music, the success achieved, the fame, fortune, the glitz and glamour that comes with his status as a A-list celebrity, couldn’t stop him from remaining focused as he later went back to school, retuning to abroad, for his Masters degree. In November 2020, he graduated with a Master’s of Science in Energy Economics from the University Of Dundee, Scotland.
FAMILY BACKGROUND: Naeto-C doesn’t even wear the look of the kind of wealthy home he came from, unlike most people who will even have a badge which indicates the rich status of their family, but that will never happen with the singer.
His mother, Kema Chikwe was Nigeria’s former Minister of Aviation, Transport, and equally Nigeria’s Ambassador to Ireland. His father, Eze Herbert Chikwe is equally a successful wealthy Nigerian, and his parents are still happily married till date, in fact they celebrated their 50th marriage anniversary in 2019.
Well, it is worthy of mention that Naeto-C who is in his early forties is equally a producer, and has produced dozens of songs in the past including some of his own songs. During his early days as a producer, he worked with charts topping artists then like Sasha P, GT the Guitarman, Disconnect, Saro-Wiwa, Dare Art Alade, Nkiru, and others. This tells you how good he was when it comes to music production, because the aforementioned artists were among the hottest across African continent at that time.
Meanwhile, in 2008 he won the MTV Africa music awards for Best New Musician, in 2009 he won best video award at Channel-O video of the year award. Same year (2009) he won best new artist at the MTV Africa music awards.
