Controversial Nigerian investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo has continued to go hard on Nigerian music star, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido. Her latest onslaught comes on the heels of Davido failing to win in any of the three categories he was nominated at the just concluded Grammy Awards.
Mixed reactions had instantly trailed the outcome of the 66th Grammy Awards, most especially were Davido Lost to a little known South African singer Tyla in the category of Best African Music Performance for her song titled “Water”. In that same way, Kemi Olunloyo being a trademark Davido’s antagonist has once again alleged that Davido won’t get the award unless the alleged Adeleke curse is broken.
“The Davido trolling begins. The Adeleke curse needs to be broken,” she posted via her verified social media handle.
Going further, in another separate post, she claimed that Davido, or the Adeleke family need to apologize to her for the curse to be broken.
“Black Monday is trending because Davido Lost the Grammys. Just apologize to Kemi Olunloyo to break the Adeleke Curse, simple,” she wrote.
Well, I don’t really understand why this whole drama is being put out following the outcome of the said Grammy Awards, as though Davido is the only artist or Nigerian artists who failed to win the award. This is really becoming ridiculous to see people continue dwelling on this issue as though they had bad things in mind against Davido. For your information, other Nigerian artists failed to win on that night including Burna Boy, Ayra Starr, Asake, Tems, Olamide, and why y’all making it look like it’s just Davido thing?
