A certain Nigerian man is currently languishing in deep pains and even attempted taking his own life. He was betrayed and humiliated by his wife, the woman he even fought family members just to marry her against all odds.
She recently put to birth, and months after, things has not been the same for the couple.
First, they got married in a crazy way! While they were dating, she, Joy got pregnant and pinned it on him. She ensured he accepted the pregnancy, after refusing his advice for an abortion. After everything he agreed to take full responsibility and equally set to marry her, even though marriage wasn’t originally in his plan for the moment.
They got married January 2024 while she was heavily pregnant. She took in some time in July 2023, and delivered in April 2024. During her Pregnancy, this young man, Echezona, saw hell.
This young man, being a caring and loving man was almost like a mad to his pregnant wife as she stressed life out of him. From waking up in the middle of the night to make food for her, including frying akara, and all that. This was as she would insist that it is what the baby she’s carrying want, and her husband will oblige.
Sometimes, he will be kept busy for hours, massaging her legs, tummy, back, etc, all in the name of “is what the baby want at that moment”. There was even a time she demanded they go out for a walk, and barely ten minutes into the walk she started crying that her legs are hurting, that the baby is kicking her tummy.
He had to flag a cab, helped her to the back, as he was about to enter the car, she protested, that the baby doesn’t want anyone else in the car except the driver. He came out of the car, paid the driver and they drove off. He waited for another taxi to take him home. It was just an unending episode of hellish experience for Echezona on daily basis.
Same her said no to bringing a house help to be assisting her, especially while he’s away to work. He had to endure all that till she put to birth. The young man only breathed a sigh of relief at then. But unknown to him that what is ahead is worse.
You do not want to talk about what he actually went through during wife’s labour, according to the same source who pleaded anonymity. She even slept and bite him while he stayed with her during her intense labour.
TWIST TO THE STORY AND CHILD’S PATERNITY…
But one afternoon, he got a text message from a certain young man identified as Paul. In the text, he informed Echezona that he will be coming to take his daughter, being the newly delivered baby, Chizzy. It was like a joke to him at the moment, though he called the number back, but Paul wouldn’t pick even after too many attempts.
He managed to compose himself till he got home from work. He showed his wife the message from the said Paul, she dismissed that with a wave of hand.
“These are scammers, that’s how they start and before you know it they have come up with another format,” that was her immediate response to the text message her husband showed to her.
Though he believed her. But like play like play, it wasn’t actually a joke or a message from scammers as she had said earlier. From one drama to the other, as the said Paul kept texting about the baby, so he decided to go for a DNA test of the baby because already he had started having doubts in his mind as a result of the kind of things Paul said in the messages he kept sending.
Though the DNA test arrangement was strongly resisted by his wife under different guises. Unfortunately, he’s not the father of Chizzy. That day was like death sentence to him.
Meanwhile, it turned out that she was actually dating Echezona and Paul at the same time. She knew it was Paul who has the pregnancy, but because he initially refused to allow her keep the pregnancy and wanted her to do abortion.
Paul was clear then, that if she cannot do the abortion, then their relationship is over and he meant to the last words, hence why she, Joy, came up with the option of hanging it on the neck of Echezona, who is more of a gentleman.
Well, their marriage has crashed as he sent her out of his house, and steps towards the legal dissolution of the marriage is in progress as we speak. But it wasn’t just that easy, because this young man Echezona saw hell.
