AFCON: South Africa Will Pay For The Xenophobic Attacks on Nigerians- Nollywood Actor Hank Anuku Declares.

Tension has continued to rise ahead of the highly anticipated football encounter between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Bafana Bafana of South scheduled for 6pm today, February 7, 2024.

Meanwhile, veteran Nollywood actor Hank Anuku has joined millions of Nigerians reacting to the upcoming encounter, making a special emphasis to the xenophobic attacks unleashed on Nigerians by South Africans few years ago, during which many Nigerians lost their previous lives and properties worth several millions of Naira/dollars.

Though the actor who has battled breakdown in recent times was not particular about Nigerians physically attacking the South Africans, but urging the Super Eagles players to retaliate in the field of play by winning them emphatically in the field.

“… almighty God open our gates to defeat the Bafana Bafana of South Africa. They will pay for the precious Nigerian lives lost during the xenophobia fever that caught them. Nigerians who lost their lives and properties. God says he will compensate you all with our victory over South Africa,” part of his post reads.

Meanwhile, Super Eagles hitman and Napoli of Italy forward, Victor Osimhen who was reportedly unfit for the game has been given a green light to partake in the game. He reportedly suffered abdominal issues, but the current African Footballer of the year is now fit and ready to face South Africa later today.
