ThE last may not have been heard regards the social media war of words going on between controversial Nollywood actress, Sarah Martins and social media personality and relationship expert, Blessing Nkiruka popularly known as Blessing CEO. Recall that their latest beef started when Sarah mark unsavoury remark about the viral bikini photos released by Blessing CEO as she took out time to visit the pool.
“It looks tacky make we no lie,” that was the comment Sarah Martins made about the said bikini photos of Blessing CEO. Meanwhile, Blessing in reaction to that comment made a post, trolling Sarah for her comment, most especially letting her know that she’s not ashamed of herself, comparing the body of a woman with two kids and hers who is not yet a mother.
Aside the reaction she got from Blessing CEO, many others tackled her for making such a comment, most especially against her fellow woman, which they tagged “body shaming” her fellow woman for being a mother.
It didn’t just end there, as Sarah equally cried out via her Instagram page, that Blessing CEO has eventually blocked her on Instagram, of which she lamented that it was too much for a mere comment.
“Aunty Blessing CEO don block me (with a lengthy laughing emojis). Nawa ooooo, for ordinary comment? And her olosho students come dey attack me for my own page? Lemme just continue minding my business sha,” she posted.
In addition, Sarah wrote, “yes I’ve got tattoos, but my tattoos are sexy and classy, not tacky biko”.
Meanwhile, in another post, Sarah Martins denied ever body shaming Blessing CEO, as the attacks on her intensified. She stated that her comment was only directed at the design of her tattoo (full book coverage belly tattoo). While still insisting that the tattoos on Blessing’s body are tacky, but maintained that she will Never body shame any woman, especially for being a mother as she too is a mother.
She looked though she regretted her comment on the bikini photos post made by Blessings, but on a second thought, she then stated that Blessing CEO who’s now crying foul beca, would have made similar or worse comment if it was someone’s else.
And she added, “And yes, that her belly tattoo is tacky! Go to Court!”
Well, the duo are no strangers to controversies as they literally live for controversies. Recall that Sarah Martins used to be a dependable ally and bestie of her colleague, Judy Austin, and strongly stood by her while she faced severe and heartbreaking criticism and attacks by many people, especially Nigerians, for allegedly destabilizing the once beautiful marriage of Yul Edochie and May by marrying Yul Edochie as his second wife. A decision which eventually led to the collapse of Yul’s marriage with May and some.
Unfortunately for their friendship, Sarah sooner than later denounced her friendship with Judy Austin and equally condemned her decision to marry the actor. She equally publicly apologized to May Yul Edochie for the role she played in the second wife episode/drama.
