Veteran Nollywood actress, movie producer and businesswoman, Mary Remmy Njoku has advised fellow women to embrace the idea of In Vitro Fertilization, commonly known as IVF.
She made this known via her verified Instagram handle, particularly preaching to the religious women in Nigeria. She said there’s nothing wrong with IVF as it is the same God they serve that created humans with such wisdoms of finding solutions to their problems.
Further, she urged them to imbibe the spirit and habit of including the story of IVF in their testimonies, especially in the Church presumably.
“Dear Nigerian religious women, there is nothing wrong with IVF,” she wrote.
“God created us with the wisdom to find solutions to our challenges. Feel free to include IVF in your testimonies, so that God can use your story to inspire and bless other families as well,” she added.
“Testimony is not mandatory. Of you no fit tell us true story, rest Abeg. Make God no vex for you,” she concluded.
Meanwhile, the post triggered lots of reactions from people, especially her fellow women, who emphasized that IVF itself is even a bigger miracle as on several occasions there have been failed IVF.
Meanwhile, a certain Instagram user @mmesomavivian83 advised women to avoid making it public that they used IVF to birth their kids as people will end up bullying those kids as a result.
“As a woman don’t ever let anybody know you did IVF, they will bully your kids with that,” she commented.

Well, I equally advice people to be conscious of the environment they find themselves before giving out such sensitive information of birthing their kids through IVF. People in this part of the world are good at taunting people with such stories, and could end up plunging you or your kids into depression.
