Nollywood actress Ekene Umenwa whose wedding ceremony over the weekend was talk of the town has taken to her social media platform to lavish praises on her maid of honor or otherwise known as Chief bridesmaid, who equally happens to be her Nollywood colleague, Chinenye Nnebe.
She made it clear in the beginning of her post that the award for the best maid of honor for 2023 goes to actress Chinenye Nnebe, and further describing her as an “Angel in human form”.
According to newly wedded actress, it was one of the most difficult thing for her, choosing her maid of honor. At first, she revealed how she had wanted to do it on her own but failed. Then she decided to go into nine (9) days long prayers and fasting, and it was then that Jesus Christ assured her to relax as he will give her exactly what is in her mind for maid of honor, which eventually turned out to be star actress, Chinenye Nnebe.
Ekene equally confessed that should it it be that Chinenye was an opposite sex, male, that she would have married her long time ago and run away with her afterwards. She made it known that Chinenye is an epitome of all round beauty, both in wisdom, elegance, physical beauty, character, personality, composure and mindset.
Meanwhile, the post has expected triggered a barrage of mixed reactions from many people, including some of her colleagues in the movie industry, of which many of them continued lavishing words of praise on her Chief bridesmaid, especially with how she handled that role to near perfection.
Chinenye Nnebe has equally reacted to the praise post, also thanking her for the honour to assume that role of being her Chief bridesmaid. In her exact words, “my darling Kene, thank you for giving me the honor of being your Chief bridesmaid. God bless you for your beautiful heart. This literally brought tears to my eyes. The most beautiful bride I have ever seen”.

Recall that the beautiful wedding ceremony was almost immediately marred by unexpected controversies, following a video clip which went viral across social media platforms. The video captured the moment gospel singer, Moses Bliss stormed the wedding event surprisingly, and the bride had to abandon her husband, going to kneel before the gospel musician, holding him tight for minutes, while her husband stood there watching at the drama.
Well, the couple are yet to make any official comment regards that incident, as they seems to have moved away from that era and now enjoying their honeymoon.
