Controversial Nollywood actor, Uche Maduagwu has appealed to music star, Davido, on one thing he should do for his wife, Chioma Rowland AKA Chef Chi, after she has been through for his sake.
He urged Davido to hasten whatever is delaying for their court marriage, which he describes as the best assurance he can ever give to Chioma. He wondered why the singer has not performed such a vital aspect of a marriage in spite the fact that the money involved is the least among marriage rites, citing that it shouldn’t cost him more than forty thousand Naira (#40,000).
“Dear Davido, the best assurance you fit give my Chiom Chiom for giving you Ibeji na to go do Court marriage. It’s more important,” part of his post reads.
He further revealed that the only reason why Yul Edochie has not been able to pay the bride price for his second wife, Judy Austin, is for the fact that he had a court wedding with his first wife, May Yul Edochie. While he claimed that traditional wedding encourages polygamy he revealed that court wedding favours Nigerian women the most, while traditional wedding favours the Nigerian men the most.
