A brain child of the late Access Bank CEO, Herbert Wigwe, located in Isiokpo, Ikweree of Rivers State, in the heart of Igbo land. This university is already rated one of the finest universities across Africa, if not the finest already.
With the school’s state-of-the-art facilities and world-class infrastructure, it has equally set a new enviable standard for tertiary education in the country.
After much waiting, the university is now set to kickoff its academic activities in the third week of September of this year (September 21, 2024).
And for sure the university will offer exceptional and quality educational value and impact, but have it in mind about the lofty tuition fees starting from ten million Naira (N10,000,000).
Late Herbert Wigwe’s love for education is not in doubt looking at the huge investment he has left behind in the name of “Wigwe University”. It is a legacy that will outlive generations to come, and nurturing great minds that will definitely take the continent of Africa to a higher pedestal in the world of academic excellence.
