International Basketball Federation & the World Hails Nigeria’s D’Tigress, Celebrate Their Achievement at Paris Olympics.

The D’Tigress has left many people reeling with joy and feeling of satisfaction following their performance at the ongoing 2024 Olympic games in Paris France, regardless of their exit from the quarterfinals stage.

Though they lost 74-88 to the United States’ women basketball team on Wednesday night, August 7, 2024, but the World has been singing their praises regardless.

Meanwhile, the International Basketball Federation, FIBA, has hailed the D’Tigress for the great feat they achieved in Paris, making it clear that such will be remembered for a long time to come.

“A Fascinating run that we will remember for a long time. Nigeria, you’re leaving Paris on the highest note,” FIBA wrote on their official and verified X handle shortly after D’Tigress lost to the United States of America.

Meanwhile, FIBA is not the only one celebrating the Nigerian Female Basketball Team, there are lot more others who are obviously happy with what they achieved in Paris, which earned them the nickname, “Giant Killers”.

“Africa Is Proud Of D’Tigress! The first African basketball team to ever reach the quarterfinals in Olympic basketball,” @Gidi_traffic.

“Massive respect to D’ tigress team, i watched basketball today and all I can say is i am extremely proud of them. USA feel am die! They did so well damn,” @iamdikeh.
