US Soldier Fights Dirty Online With Nigerians Over The August 1st Nationwide Protest!

As the kickoff date for the much anticipated nationwide hunger and hardship protest in Nigeria draws closer, we have continued to witness more drama relating to the said protest.

Meanwhile, a certain Nigerian born US soldier has joined the conversation, while he equally had a brief banter with some people on social media.

Identified with his Instagram name as @mike_fighter001, was reacting to the story about some women group in the country, who staged a counter protest against those planning to participate in the August 1st nationwide protest.

Reacting to the photo post of the women staging a Protest tagged “Say No To Protest” in Abuja, Mike wrote, “Please y’all should invite me over to arrest these people”.

In an ensuing argument, another Instagram user @insta_law_court replied Mike with the harsh words, “go and sit down”.

Angered by the response, the US soldier immediately wrote, “@insta_law_court your papa dey sit down all him life na he make you no get sense, you want same for my children?”

“Arrest which people? U just wan die for no reason,” @onasking replied the US soldier.

“don’t think if you’re afraid of death everybody is like you bro,” Mike replied as well.

The said nationwide hunger and hardship protest has dominated conversation in the country in the past few days/weeks, with the current APC led Federal Government fighting so hard to abort the protest. Including threats of arrest and sanctions flying here and there from security agents in the country.

They have equally been accusations and counter accusations on matters surrounding the protest, including persons like Bayo Onanuga alleging that the protest is sponsored by the aggrieved opposition politicians who have refused to wait till next election to try their luck once again.

He categorically accused the 2023 Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi and his PDP counterpart, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, of being behind the protest.

Nigeria’s vice president, Shettima has equally labelled those planning to protest as idiot Nigerians, while the FCT minister, Barr. Nyesom Wike on his part tagged them armed robbers, urging Abuja residents not to join armed robbers to protest.

Meanwhile, many Nigerians have insisted that the protest must go on as already planned on August 1st.
