A gentle reminder, “No Loose Guard” as Big Brother Naija Reality Show returns finally…
The much anticipated season-9 of the popular Reality TV show ‘Big Brother Naija-BBNaija’ tagged “No Loose Guard” has finally kicked off on Sunday night of July 28, 2024.
The show returned with lots of twists, spices, and exciting dynamics that saw housemates enter the house in pairs, for the first time since the inception of the show.
Well, we have taken out time to bring to you some important things you should know about the new season of the show.
A total of 28 contestants have been admitted into the Big Brother house, and were paired in twos to end up with 14 pairs as introduced to the world by the Show’s regular host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.
Below are the housemates and how they were paired:
1. ZinWe: The first paired housemates is made up of Chinwe and Zion.
They are already into five months old relationship, and while in the Big Brother house, they will be known as “ZinWe” as coined from their names.
2. The Radicals: Second pair of the night is made up of Fairme David and Michky, and they are friends. The revealed during their introduction that they are still virgins.
And equally made it clear that though they didn’t enter the house with any strategy to win, but that they have come with lots of exciting and interesting vibes.
3. Floruish: The 3rd pair of housemate includes DJ Flo and Rhuthee, and revealed that they have been best friends for about a decade now.
They have promised to make the show exciting and fun for viewers at home.
4. NdiNne: This fourth pair is yet another interesting duo comprised of a niece and her aunty named Chinne and Nne respectively.
They promised to bring realness, authenticity and heat to the show, and assured viewers of so much fun while in the house.
5. Aces: The 5th pair in the house are Sooj and Topher, who are just colleagues outside the show.
They have assured fans of exciting time in the house and equally bragged that though you might be able to guess their move, but you won’t be able to know their next move as they will remain unpredictable in the show.
6. Shatoria: The pair number six is a duo of Victoria and Shaun, and just friends who only met in Dubai in 2022.
Promises great fun during the show.
7. Wanni X Handi: Being the 7th pair of the show, and surprisingly are a set identical twins namely Wanni and Handi from Kaduna State.
They are into DJ work, single and available for mingling as well.
8. BETA: TJay and Ben are the 8th pair, and only met on the social media platform Instagram.
While Ben is single and claimed to be a party addict, That on the other hand is married with a beautiful daughter.
9. Mbadiwe Twins: Ocee and Ozee are the 9th pair in the house.
And yet another identical twins in the show already.
10. TAMI: Here comes the 10th pair, which is a duo of female friends identified as Damilola and Toyosi.
They revealed that they met during their industrial training, IT, and are equally ready to mingle coz they are still singles.
11. Nelita: Anita and Nelly forms the 11th pair, and have been best of friends for almost a decade now, 9 years precisely after they met in 2015.
While Anita is a pole dancer, Nelly on the other hand is a model. Both are not ready for any relationship during the show, as often seen among housemates previously.
12. Streeze: Do not confuse their name for “steeze”, lol. Well Streeze is the 12th pair comprising of Mayor Frosh and Toby Forge.
They are just friends who met at the University of Lagos. And openly admitted that they would certainly face distractions from beautiful ladies in the house.
13. Double Kay: The 13th pair is a beautiful couple made up of Kellyrae and Kassia.
They dated for about ten years before marriage happened in February 2024.
14. Chekas: The last but not the least, made up of Onyeka and Chizoba.
Both are close friends and proudly made it known that their only strategy is to steal other housemates’ strategies and win the show. No long talk!
