Mike Ejeagha: Singer Kcee Clarifies On Alleged Copyright Infringement In His Song!

Popular Nigerian singer, Kcee Limpopo has laid to rest, the story flying around that he sampled songs from Mike Ejeagha in his song without duly compensating the aged singer, as social media users criticized him for sampling the song without doing the needful.

This follows the recent trend involving a viral dance video made by Brain Jotter and inspired by a song from the legendary high life musician. Well, Kcee shared a 2018 video during which he visited the singer in his Enugu residence with his team, comprising of Naniboi.

Kcee in the clarification post made it clear that he visited Mike Ejeagha back in 2018 to seek his consent, to enable him sample part of his lines in his own song. Of which he got the consent, and equally that all legal and professional papper works were set in place as well.

He warned peddlers of fake news to desist from such, as it is important to get your facts right before becoming an agent of fake news.
