Veteran Nollywood actor Chinedu Ikedieze A.K.A Aki caused quite a stir online in the past 24 hours with his post while celebrating his new wife, Stephanie Promise Ikedieze on her birthday on Tuesday July 16, 2024.
Well, it is now clear that the actor may has since moved on from his former marriage with Nollywood costumier, Nneoma Nwaijah.
Recall the couple married in 2011, with their traditional marriage taking place on November 26, 2011, in Obolo, Isiala Mbano Imo State. Their white wedding followed on December 9, 2011 at Redeem Christian Church of God Ogba Lagos State.
In January 2017 Aki and Nneoma reportedly welcomed their first child together and since then, nothing much was heard about their marriage. Now, the actor’s post about another woman in the person on Stephanie Promise Ikedieze indicates that his marriage with Nneoma Nwaijah has since gone south.
Worthy to mention is that the actor and his new wife already has three kids together; two girls and a boy (whom they welcomed on July 6, 2024), which reveals that the actor and his Nneoma Nwaijah didn’t break up just recently as being circulated online.
Yes, with three kids with a different woman means that they may have been together for a period not less than five years now. Which leaves the question hanging, “when did he separate from his first wife Nneoma? and what could have led to their separation?

Recall that prior to this moment, the actor is not known for bringing his family to social media like most of his colleagues in the entertainment industry.
So it was really hard for anyone to have thought about the crisis in his marriage, and even how he kept things about his new marriage away from social media, even with about two kids already before the last one, tells of how much a private person the actor is.
Even the said Nneoma Nwaijah has never revealed to the public anything about her marriage with the actor, whether they are still married or separated remains a mystery yet to be solved. Even in the actor’s post few days ago, nothing about being divorced from his first wife was mentioned in it.
People are only making their deductions from the post on the ground that he couldn’t have had kids with another woman while still married to his first wife Nneoma. But that may not be completely true as no one is privy to the truth about what is going on over there.
But one thing I can assure you is that you will likely not hear anything from Aki regards his marriage with Nneoma Nwaijah as he has often stood against bringing family/marital matters to the public, especially through social media. All the comments on his recent posts pressing the actor to talk about the flying rumours has all been met with silence.
