The back and forth drama Involving Very Dark BlackMan, VDM and cryptocurrency mogul, Linus Williams popular by the name Blord seems to be over anytime soon.
While Blord was recently under police custody which span for about three days, on the other hand VDM seems to be jubilating over the predicament of Blord, claiming to be behind his ordeal.
He cited a couple of reasons as to why that happened, including that there have been a couple of complaints of people loosing money on Blord’s platforms and which he never cared to address.
While still in police custody, VDM trolled the Anambra state born billionaire to prove that he’s actually Mr. Influential by securing his release from police detention. And surprisingly today, same VDM announced the release of Blord from police detention, which seemingly begging the police not to compromise the case involving Blord.
But the truth remains that VDM doesn’t really understand how things work in our society, especially in this generation were money controls almost everything around us. Yes, the rich often gets away with their sins, while the poor people get punished for even smaller sins.
When VDM was all over the place taunting Blord over his ordeal, little did he envisioned that he would be out of police detention anytime soon. To keep a wealthy man in detention in this part of the world, you must definitely be richer, more influential and more connected than him.
That’s exactly how our society is configured, and you or me cannot change it anytime soon. That’s why wickedness and all manner of injustices thrives healthily in our society, because it is often the rich that perpetrates them against the weak and poor, who do not have the economic means to fight back.
Yes, because your good evidences and other advantages cannot easily get you justice here without the economic power. That’s exactly the reason why you see lots of rich people walk free out there with all the corruption, crimes, atrocities they may have committed, while the poor people who have done little or no wrong continue to languish in police and prisons facilities.
Is it not in this same country that some one abused the Naira and went to jail, another with same offence is out there a free person? It is in this same country politicians rig elections with video evidences and the court go ahead to validate their election victories.
So, have it at the back of your mind, that your evidences and all that is not enough to fight injustices in this country. Justice in this part of the world is most often beyond the reach of the poor.
