Wizkid and Davido used to be close friends and industry pals, but how things turned sour between the two musical giants, regardless of their respective enviable Success stories and achievements, is something worthy of paying a serious attention to.
In recent times we have seen a couple of beef attitude from Wizkid towards his colleague, Davido. Last time, it was a post mocking Davido’s leaked video begging a certain lady for a piece of her waist. Then most recent is a post indirectly trolling Davido’s wife, Chioma, ahead of their much anticipated wedding ceremony.
“Saying a prayer for every understanding woman on earth. Your king loves you,” he wrote. A post which has fetched the “Ojuelegba” crooner millions of trolls and criticism.
Without mincing words, it is now glaringly clear that Wizkid has continued to harbour unnecessary bitterness against Davido, and has in the process made himself an object of ridicule.
If it was that Davido talks bad about him, and he’s replying then it will be a different ball game, but no, that’s not the case. Dude just derive so much pleasure in disrespecting and ridiculing his colleague, Davido, for a reason he’s yet to tell the world.
Now, he’s indirectly trying to insult Chioma for still sticking around with Davido in spite all that has happened in the course of their love life/relationship. It is even sad to note that Davido nor Chioma has been seen talking down or bad about Wizkid, yet he has made it a point of duty to continue disrespecting Davido or both.
Yes, we understand that Davido has made a couple of mistakes along the line and that Chioma has decided to live with it, but how does it really concern anyone, including Wizkid? Isn’t that the height of pettiness and immaturity of anyone, especially a personality like Wizkid?
Forget about whether he’s your favourite singer or not, the fact remains that the young man is loosing it, and it is not actually good for his personality. The post, whether it was actually about Chioma or not, is highly insensitive and irresponsible of him by all standard.
This was someone who was highly respected for the fact that he doesn’t talk anyhow and doesn’t dabble into matters any how. But all that remains with the past, as he has suddenly turned into something else, to the extent he now seemed to be a bitter heart gossip.
His disrespect for others in recent times, especially his colleagues is very terrible, at least we all saw how he disrespected Don Jazzy recently.
Besides, Davido has a record of treating the women in his life far more better than Wizkid. Wizkid has been called out severally by his baby mama/mamas for being a deadbeat father, but you hardly hear of such about Davido.
So, in what way is he Wizkid better than Davido in treating their women better? So, it still tells you that the young man is just nursing unexplainable bitterness towards Davido.
