It is very obvious that most people now want one of their own to end up as a professional Footballer, preferably playing in Europe, hence the reason we have seen some of the celebrities in this part of the world grooming their kids towards becoming professional Footballer. Well, it seems popular Nigerian singer, song writer and producer, Terry G has joined the queue.
The Benue State born music star shared a couple of photos of his son, Prince Rex, training with other kids from his base outside the country. Terry G also made it clear that every good tree bears good fruits, but prayed for his son to be the type of fruit better than the tree that bears it. In other words, he is praying for his son to be greater and more successful than himself.
“Like Father like son, every good tree makes good fruits, but you’re the fruit better than the tree itself. Always proud & love you Prince Rex,” Terry G captioned the post.
The post has been trailed by thousands of heart sweetening comments, both from his fellow entertainers and other well wishers, as seen below…
Meanwhile, we have seen in recent times, how lots of people from this part of the world have suddenly picked interest in football, either as die-hard football fans, investors or sponsoring football events. Some others have equally continued to push their kids into becoming professional Footballers, for instance, Peter Okoye of the famous music group in the country, PSquare, has been sponsoring his son, Cameroon Okoye, through different stages, as to end up as a professional Footballer.
Some might be wondering why, well it is not far fetched, as the game of football has become such a lucrative career, such that you ain’t mistaken to refer to it as a gold mine. As such, everyone really want to benefit from gold mine directly or indirectly.
