Love is such a beautiful thing indeed, and the most beautiful thing about love is the fact that it doesn’t discriminate it’s next destination, as it could land anywhere anytime. Yes, that’s the story we have brought your way this beautiful Wednesday evening, being valentine’s day.
A certain Nigerian lecturer has stirred up mixed reactions among people following his Valentine’s day proposal to his lovely woman, who happens to be one of the students of the said university. The young man identified as Mr. Anucha Wisdom who is currently a lecturer at the Abia State University, Uturu, had to wait for the special day to take his relationship to the next level, by proposing to his fiancee, who is said to be a student of the university.
The proposal ceremony happened in the presence of some of the students in of the school’s classroom. It was such a beautiful scene as people were seen taking snap shots of the lovebirds while cheering them as well.
Meanwhile, the story has expectedly triggered massive mixed reactions from people across social media platforms. While some are of the opinion that though they are not against who the lecturer falls in love with, that the proposal should have been done outside the school, especially the classroom. Some others praised the lovebirds for the courage to declare their love to the world regardless of what people will eventually say.
Well, as long as they are not disturbing anyone with their love, and for the fact that they are doing it right, I do not see anything wrong in whatever they have done with regards to this very story. People should be allowed to express themselves and feelings in the way that best suits them, without the fear of what people may say. True love comes naturally and unconditionally, and shouldn’t be subjected to unnecessary criticism.
