Controversial Nigerian social media sensation, Daniel Regha has beamed his searchlight on Belgium international footballer, Romelu Lukaku, following the recent comment made by the former Chelsea, Everton and Man United forward, with regards to the Saudi Pro League.

Lukaku who’s currently playing for Italian top flight side, AS Roma, had stated that in the next two years he sees the Saudi Pro League becoming either one of the best leagues in the world or even the best. Lukaku centred his prophecy on the ground that the Saudi Pro League has continued to spend heavily in bringing big names to their league, which positions them to be one of the biggest leagues in the world in the nearest future.

Just like some others who have been reacting to the comment made by Lukaku, with most of them disputing the claims by Lukaku, Daniel Regha on his part accused Lukaku of trying to draw the attention of clubs in the Saudi Pro League to himself, as to trigger an imminent move to the league.

He went further to make it clear that Saudi Pro League won’t even be one of the best leagues in the world anytime soon, especially while the English Premier League, Italian SerieA, German Bundesliga, Spanish Laliga, etc, are still in existence.

“Lukaku is probably looking for an offer from clubs in the Saudi Pro League, if he wishes to play there that’s ok, but Saudi won’t be one of the best leagues anytime soon, not while there’s the PL, SerieA, La Liga, Bundesliga, just to name a few. It’s highly impossible,”: Daniel Regha wrote in reaction to the comment made by Lukaku.

Aside Daniel Regha, several others who have commented on the matter have equally shared same opinion with him, citing that Lukaku is only looking to attract interest from clubs in the Saudi Pro League.

On the other hand, Saudi Pro League in the past few months, especially during the last year’s transfer window, have seen the influx of top footballers into the league. Though many have attributed the influx to the temptation of the huge amount of money attached to the deals, which most of these footballers couldn’t resist such offers.
