It was an atmosphere of excessive joy and happiness the moment a certain Nigerian mother finally met his son’s white woman, as she ended up visiting Nigeria for the first time.
You needed to see how happy the boy’s mother was when she met with the white woman, obvious portraying how much joy her heart is filled with on such a rare occasion.
She was hosted by the white woman in her hotel room, not in the boy’s family house, a reason best known to them. His younger sister was equally present at that memorable moment, watch with so much delight along with his brother, as their mom and the oyibo woman endlessly hug each other.
While it is increasing becoming a regular occurrence in this part of the world for Nigerian men to bring home their white lovers, mostly met on social media. On the other hand, it has not been a common occurrence.

Meanwhile, forget about whatever sentiments anyone might come forward with, the fact remains that Nigerian mothers or parents only accept their sons to marry a woman of that age simply because of money and visa to travel abroad.
If she was to be a Nigerian, especially once she is not wealthy, Nigerian mothers will never accept their son to even date her talk more of marrying her. That’s when you know what a typical Nigerian mother is made up of, she will practically set that house on fire with her tongue.
She will immediately drag all the immediate and extended family members into the matter, and the young man will have no option left than to quit his relationship with the said woman.
But it’s so unfortunate that it is what generational poverty and societal pressure has brought into our existence here. People are just so desperate to escape from the miseries of poverty and that’s all.
