France has released its squad for the upcoming international break matches, and shocking Real Madrid star, Kylian Mbappe has been left out of the squad for the first time in as many years.
Meanwhile, Mbappe was recently sidelined due to injury but he returned to the team about a week faster than his medically anticipated return.
Though others dropped from the team include his fellow Real Madrid teammate, Ferland Mendy, and then Adrien Rabiot.
Further investigation reveals that Mbappe was dropped from the squad to enable him recover fully after his recent injury, and equally has enough rest time.
This suggests that both France and Real Madrid may have reached an agreement to ensure his long-term fitness.
Below is the full squad list…
As for Mendy and Rabiot, it boils down to their fitness and the inclusion of some other players who appear to be more fit than them. Besides, Mendy hasn’t been at his best since the start of the new season, while Rabiot has been without club for sometime untill he recently signed a two year deal with French side, Marseille.
