Nigerian singer, songwriter and entertainer, Brendan UkaGod has accused Nigerian female celebrities of trading their bodies for money, as he alleges that most of them are into hookup.
He was reacting to a heated conversation about how many little known female celebrities in the country, both in the music, movie industry and others, lavishes excessive wealth of flashy cars, properties, parties, etc.
While on the other hand, many popular male celebrities struggle financially, while these female celebrities live in affluence, such that you begin to wonder what’s really going on in that industry.
He said these female celebrities here are dating rich people in the country, including politicians and the elite Nigerian men, who in turn splashes so much money of them.
Also, the singer further suggested that this hookup thing is in the blood of most Nigerian girls, which makes it impossible for them to drop that lifestyle.
“Anyways, 90% of your favourite female celebrities in Nigeria are hookup girls especially for politicians, very rich and elite Nigerian men. There’s nothing different between them and girls from codedruns,” he wrote.
He equally went further to state that, “Someone said if you’re a single guy and have the opportunity to enter abroad, pls avoid Nigerian girls by all means. They can never change“.
But the truth remains that we have lots of hardworking women in this country, both in the entertainment industry and others. We have seen great women who have excelled in different fields of endeavour, without having to warm the bed of these politicians and the elite Nigerian men. But that doesn’t take away the fact that a lot of them are into hookup.
On the other hand, it is a fact that many girls these days do not want to go through the rough path, hence they quickly settle for the career of hookup. Sadly, it has become a proud career for many girls here, travelling from one place to another, including from states to states, meeting their male clients and getting paid heavily, while they live their dream life.
